Anyone Twitter?

Twitter seems to be the latest thing so I figured at least a few of you may be involved with it. I just started recently so haven't yet done a lot with it. I'm curious as to how effective Twitter is in helping network with others.

Twitter is definitely a networking tool/widget for us to use. I would say, it's very viral and is able to help you drive traffic to your profile/website/link in the shortest time. There are many twitter marketing techniques out there and basically, help you accomplish something - driving traffic to where you want it to go. (That i believe is it's primary objective?) But of course, it does help you to build up networks or gain followers in a short time and that equals to more exposure too.

I didn't know Twitter was that huge until news came out that hollywood stars are on it too. LOL

I do use Twitter but to be completely honest with you all I still do not quite understand it. I log in and I go to check out someone that I am following and I am overwhelmed with what seems to be a bunch of partial comments etc.

So, to say the least it is a bit confusing to me. I do plan on continuing to play around with it and see if I can get it to make sense. Everyone keeps saying it is so simple, which if that is the case then maybe I am just use to things being really complex.

Hello I have already started with Twitter and I am looking at all the best ways to use it for marketing. I am absolutely bogged down in reading many PDF's from Calvins friends.

John Merrick and Soren Jordansen they have a resource called "Tweet my blog" This site has a lot of valuable info on how to use Twitter and get the best out of it. Tweet My Blog | Twitter Plugin For Wordpress is a free membership site with lots of great stuff.

I am still wading my way through it all; about 7 free Pdf's. I have learned a great deal of valuable strategies already. A lot of it is very easy to set up- you know its the old story, when everything is new it looks hard; but after you check it out; it's really easy when you know how

They have a free plugin for Wordpress which every time you post on your Blog it automatically sends your post to Twitter. I have not installed it yet, but will get around to that asap. Also Twitter is only 140 words, which is about the size of 2 of my paragraphs here. So Twitter is a mini; mini blog, and it takes up very little time for a lot of gains.

I hope members may find the resource useful. We could all support each other and "follow" each other on Twitter?
