Smile What is YOUR Driving Factor?

I think that in the audio, Calvin and I have shared our driving factors with as much detail as possible.

And we can safely tell you that it is our driving factors that brought us to where we are today - running and managing a 6 figure annual income business. Our driving factors will continue to push us to achieve greater heights with our business and also to keep us rooted to our families as well as loved ones.

After going through the audio, we hope that you have seriously thought it through.

So what is your driving factor?

By sharing your driving factor and committing yourself to it, will definitely help you and motivate you throughout this audio training program. So, go ahead and leave a reply here with your driving factor.

I would say cookies but that one is just a given and way too easy.

My own motivation is the past that I have learned from, by others and even myself. The people I have seen be down and out and build back up to make something of themselves. I think I see more light from the dark and I take that into account as well.

Thumbs up Re: What is YOUR Driving Factor?

Hi Patricia and Calvin,
I really applaud you both for gaining success on the internet at such a young age!
I have heard from your audio training and I really share the same thoughts as you both for most of the topics.

I'm a polytechnic grad, and currently in a full-time job. I read many books such as Secrets of The Millionaire Mind from T. Harv Eker, Rich Dad Poor Dad etc.

All those knowledge from these books have really allowed me to understand more about having multiple sources of income, getting passive income and achieving financial freedom.

I have tried many ways to earn money for the past year. I did sold many stuff from foodstuff, toys to even sleeping system and facial products. All these are hard work. I have also started last year such as doing PTC sites, Paid-to-read sites, paid surveys, paid-to-post sites. I have a blog with adsense, but I wasn't very active in updating it. I spend quite alot of time on these GPT sites but earnings are low and haven't earned much. I haven't tried venturing into affiliate marketing because I have very little knowledge in them.

OK what is my driving factor?
My driving factor is my passion to be able to achieve financial freedom and be able to bring joy and happiness to many others. I want to help even more people to achieve financial freedom and see life in a different light, looking at life positively with optimism.

I agree with you on this quote, "You will get what you want when you help even more people get what they want."

I would like to thank you for starting this website to help more Singaporeans earn money from home.
Well, I hope to win the book "Master Your Mind, Design
Your Destiny" by Adam Khoo.

Thanks alot. I will recommend this website to more Singaporeans!
Cheers, Lina

Wink Re: What is YOUR Driving Factor?

hi hi.
Is not what but a who is my driving factor? He is one of my secondary school schoolmates and he is my driving factor also a role model. He has been earning more than 2k per month through internet marketing eversince he was a secondary 3 student. I asked him why earn so much during his secondary school life? He told me he thought his girlfriend and his future so he wanted to start early. Furthermore, the girl he was attached to, study at a recognise and a good school. He has this inferior feeling and he knows that his education status is lower than his girlfriend who is in an express stream. I guess his girlfriend and his future was his driving factor.

I admired his never giving up spirit .It cheers me on to work hard. So I keep trying and keep learning as much as possible. He told me he once got cheated by a foreigner through a website. I'm not sure about how he was cheated but he got cheated $3k.At that period of time he was still a secondary student and he didn't have that much money so he borrowed the $3k from his dad but too bad his money got cheated away. Eventhough he was cheated, he did not give up until now earning $2k per month is still nothing to him. He wanted more. I approach and ask him how. He told me a few tips here and there but still I'm still learning. I went to the millionaire mind intensive with him @ singapore EXPO nov 08. Wonderful experience and sharing moments.

We share our dreams to each other and sometime we chat on the MSN and keep track on how we doing and are we moving towards our goal is like a reminder but on the other hand casual chat and sharing with him. Till now, he is still very self-motivated. Right now I have a girlfriend too just like him think about our future here and there. I know i'm still abit slow but still learning. hmmm..He was in the normal technical stream and I was in the normal academic stream. To me, I never thought that he could go that far and now he has been moving further and further. Not to be left behind and want to achieve the things I want.. my goal..He has became my driving factor. Someone I can compete with. Its not about competing how rich we are, its the success that counts.

My driving factor at the moment is to be completely debt free, including a mortgage, within the next few years. In order for that to happen, I need to continue to build my business and income exponentially. I believe the only way to be truly financially independent is by not owing anyone anything.

In order for me to explain my driving factor, I need to give a little of my background.

I was with the civil service for 10 year after I graduated from polytechnic. However the skill I acquired are very specialist and I must say not very portable. However, I thought I would be there till I retire, and then there was a policy change. The retirement age for me and my peer was lower to 45 years of age to keep the force young. However doing my finance, I realise I was not able to retire that young.

By chance two years ago, PSA recognise our skill set and offer us a bridge course for us to cross over. Now I did have to have a slight pay cut to be there, however I was happy as they would offer a longer term of employment. Business was good and still there was a huge shortage and suddenly I find myself having a huge pay rise just to retain and attract talent to our sector. Life seems good. Nothing have change much, work and pay is still about the same, however the recent talk of pay cut and retrenchment did affect me a little. Suddenly I do not feel as secured.

So what is my drive factor? – My daughter. All this changes I would be able to manage rather easily, I am resilience and I believe my wife would be able to handle too. However, I want my daughter to have a worry free childhood. And that is why I am seek other avenues to ensure I have enough income should the day come for me to leave my job.

Thumbs up Re: What is YOUR Driving Factor?

I'm really glad to see people starting to post the driving factors on the forum because it just shows one thing - that they are committed to their driving factor. (thx to iwrite, jackie, challenger09 and tooxtoox for their heartwarming sharings).

Well, by committing to it, that's already the first step to success.

Now, if you aren't aware, we are going to reward two members who have shared their driving factor with a physical hard copy of one of our recommended books written by Adam Khoo - "Secrets of Self-Made Millionaires" or "Master Your Mind, Design Your Destiny".

The two winners will be selected based on how inspiring and sincere your driving factor is.

The deadline for this has not been fixed yet, but there's no harm in sharing your driving factor right now or once you've derived what it is.

But remember, the whole purpose of this incentive is to encourage you to really think about your driving factor and declaring it so that you will not forget about it and others can help encourage you too.

So, i look forward to reading many more posts on driving factors!

Hey there WFH Singaporeans! Would like to give my two cents' about what my driving factors are;

First and foremost, it's my only son. Circumstances (won't bore you with the details) have led to him being my only child. In order not to burden him with taking care of 2 impoverished old folks in about 30-40 years' time, I am committed to building a very comfortable retirement fund for myself, to take care of not just nitty gritty like daily and medical expenses, also but cruises around the world, anti wrinkle creams etc, as well . Having some dough left over to let my beloved kid inherit when I sign off the planet would be very good, too.

Then there's the claustrophobia I get when I squeeze myself into the MRT on weekday mornings, along with 5 million other worker bee Singaporeans. I believe internet marketing is the solution that allows me to work from home and earn more than I could ever make from being imprisoned in an office cubicle, making some corporation, not myself, rich.

I'm also very keen on the idea of passive income. Do it once, and get paid many times over. I get jealous of musicians and authors earning obscene amounts in royalties. If passive income doesn't drive you, I don't know what will.

Thanks for listening, guys.

Hi Elisena,

Thanks for sharing. I really feel that what your sharing is similar to a lot of what other Singaporeans are feeling - tired of working and making their bosses rich and not themselves.

Well, there are many ways you can start earning a passive income and you can do so through the internet. Hope you will benefit from the audio training course which will teach you exactly how!
