My more than 2 cents worth on Driving factor:

Like what Elisena had said circumstances had driven her to do what was not the norm. I for one thing am very much like her. Yes, I have a job in the IT line....but I have one VERY important reason of all.... I am physically imperfect...physically impaired that is, People say I have done my parents proud by having completed my Diploma in Info-communications, but the thing is that has never been my purpose, Nick Vujicic is my role model...even Adam Khoo mentioned about him.... He was born with no arms and no legs. He turned his 'problem' into an 'opportunity'. I want to do likewise, Furthermore, my mum shook me with this question the other day: Do you do want to just earn $800 all your life?....Reading self-improvement books like Rich Dad has aroused my interest in becoming rich not just for myself,but for my mum and even for God. My religious mentor told me, I can't change the world by being rich. Yes that maybe true, but isn't it better than doing nothing at all? look at nick.....just google and you know what I am talking about.

Internet marketing seem to be the best platform for me now....
So my driving factor are actually my thirst to become rich so that I can be like Nick with my mum's motivation as well as even God's Word, (so that I can help as many people as I can.)

Yes Cookies, I am a realist. Even if I went on and gave you a pitch about morality and the light at the end of the tunnel, Cookies are the essence of why I move. This brings to mind advertising insentive as it has formally been established. What other business do you know, where you don't have to come out side if you don't want to, no need to talk to anyone and achieve such payment?

Thanks for giving us a venue to post!

As for me, my driving factor to earn more money includes:

- providing a better life for my family (my wife not working now..i'm the sole breadwinner)
- start planning to save up for my children's education (definitely not cheap!)
- hope to buy a bigger house next time so that my parents can stay together with us (presently me and my wife staying in a 4-rm HDB)
- to buy a car in the near future in case my wife got pregnant so that she don't have to walk long distance (pregnancy is tough for woman!!)
- able to bring my family on holidays overseas (not really possible now)
- be able to have a comfortable nest egg so that my children don't have to support me & my wife in the future (it will be tough to support themselves already!)

Hmm, My driving Factor is "Retire Early" which means to achieve financial freedom as early as possible and also to provide more for my loved ONES.

Why i say so? Everyday, u should have seen some old people picking up can drink, carton paper, selling tissue paper to make a living. How sad are these scene? If u imagine if this is your parents or even yourself, how will u feel? Definitely not happy.

Why should we let others control how much we can give to our loved ones or ourselves? Why don't we take up the challenge and be our own "Boss"? At this position, we are in control. Sad to say in this era, working for others is the most risky among all, u will never know what will happen tommorrow, but if u are the boss, u can control what will happen the next day.

With this in mind, i have always portrait myself in the mirror and say to myself, "You can do it, you are the best".

Last but not least, i will like to extend many thanks to Patricia and Calvin in creating this common platform for all like-minded individuals to gather here to share and encourage one and another.

Thank Patricia for building this website and starting this thread..Really enterprising at such a young age. Because internet marketing is quite a lonely journey and we will face challenges along the journey. The driving force will make us overcome the challenges and achieve our goals and destination we want to be.

Quite inspired by your driving forces. I believe most of you here have the same goals as me that is time freedom as well as financial freedom.

I am a person who value time freedom. Cos time is the only commodity that cannot be gained back if lost. I also value the time spent with my family and friends.

Currently I am working full time and recently get in touch with internet marketing. Last time used to be skeptical about internet marketing, but now started up a internet marketing program but still wanting to know what are the ways and means to earn money online. My goal is to be full time working from home in Dec 2010.

Recently got rejected by google adsense for applying my account. Hope someone who has some experience, can guide me as well. And also share with me what other ways that can make money online on part time basis at the moment.

Looking forward to hear and learn from you all. :-)
